Some shipping methods may only be available upon request. Contact us to request a shipping quote for a different method, select options to pick up the item in person, or arrange your own shipping.

Requesting a Quote

If the shipping cost is not listed on the item details page, submit your order and a shipping quote will be provided within 1-2 days.

If you accept the quote, your order will be confirmed and the item will be shipped to you. If you reject the quote, your order will be canceled and you will not be charged.

Please note, you may be required to acknowledge that customs duties and taxes may apply and are your responsibility.

Calculating Shipping Quotes

Shipping quotes are determined by dimensional weight, which is based on the item size, not the actual item weight, and shipping distance. SoShiro passes the direct cost for shipping to the customer. There is no mark-up on these costs.

Pre-quoted shipping is based on dimensional weight and covers broader geographic areas. This includes shipping to the entire continental US, Europe, and the Rest of the World. This cost is often subsidized, as the actual cost can be higher than the pre-quoted prices.

Express & Courier – delivery includes full insurance, item collection, packaging, and delivery to the front door.

Front Door delivery – includes full insurance, item collection, packaging, handling for large or oversized items, and delivery to the front door. A shipping quote will be prepared on order.

White-Glove delivery – includes full insurance, item collection, packaging and delivery to the front door by appointment, unpacking, inspection and placement in room of choice. Recommended for larger items. A shipping quote will be prepared on order.

 

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

Customs duties and taxes may apply to international purchases. 

Items shipped internationally may be subject to customs duties and sales or Value Added Tax (VAT) set by the destination country. These fees are not calculated prior to customs clearance in that country and are in addition to the price and shipping cost you are charged when checking out. To complete your purchase, you are required to acknowledge that any customs duties and taxes that apply are your responsibility.
